Mentor profile:
I have worked in the airline business for about 22 years now. I have flown the Dash-8, Jetstream 41, the ATR-42, the Boeing 737-200 and -500 and the Bombardier CL65. I have been a Check Pilot, Simulator Instructor, and Ground school Instructor. I presently work as an Air Carrier Inspector with Transport Canada, Government of Canada. I have a lot of experience to share with younger aviators and will gladly provide any advice that I can.

Favorite thing about flying:
Looking up at a darker sky.
Disadvatages of being a pilot:
Fulfilling a childhood dream (and, of course, the lifestyle).

What you would have done different:
I would do nothing differently, and would do it all again in a heartbeat. The people you meet along the way make it all worthwhile.
Advice to aspiring pilots:
Be prepared to work your way up through the ranks and never forget where you came from.
Problems encounterd along the way:
An unstable industry.
