Mentor profile:
Started flying for the US Army in helicopters. Remained in this career for 20 years. Became fixed wing qualified four years after completing flight school. Flew helicopters in RVN and the Army Aviation School. Flew both rotary and fixed wing aircraft as an instructor based in Thailand, San Antonio, Belgium, Italy and Atlanta. Retired from US Army in 1988. Flew charter aircraft for a year in Atlanta. Started corporate flight department for Printpack in 1990. Currently have two internal pilots and a maintenance manager under my wing. Personally fly >300 hours/year and manage department flying 500-600 hours/year.

Favorite thing about flying:
There are so many things it would be hard to describe in this small area. Obviously the travel broadens everyone's horizons. Speaking of horizons there is no better way to see them than from the cockpit.
Disadvatages of being a pilot:
I have no regrets and would probably have not done anything differently.

What you would have done different:
Study, hone your skills and become a professional in all aspects of your life and career.
Advice to aspiring pilots:
Educating non pilots, particularly passengers on some of the demands that are unknown to them.
Problems encounterd along the way:
