Mentor profile:
By race I'm from China, By birth I'm from Canada, By nationality I'm from New Zealand. And I finished up my flight training in Daytona Beach @ Embry-Riddle. Currently a flight instructor looking to move on to bigger and faster aero planes as my experience grows.

Favorite thing about flying:
The freedom to move. I'm a very *jumpy* character and flying allows me to *hop* from place to place
Disadvatages of being a pilot:
Personal Self Image. Numerous people I encounter do not believe in themselves. They feel like flying is beyond their reach; therefore they quit before they even begin. For those who have the vision and courage to try; however, many give up before "the harvest is ripe." Success is Goals. Dream Big, all the magic in the world comes from a Big Dream.

What you would have done different:
Stayed in New Zealand. Embry-Riddle became a financial disaster. I sunk excessive amounts of money to achieve my goals. I would've cut that down by 2/3 if I stayed in New Zealand.
Advice to aspiring pilots:
Success is Goals. Sit down with an aviation expert qualified to give you a proper opinion and game plan.
Problems encounterd along the way:
Don't lose your vision and have the courage to FINISH THE JOB. Too many people give up before they can reap their harvest. Don't be a quitter don't be average, you can and will be a WINNER!
